Tablet Giveaway/ConnectHome

For public housing and low-income residents, ConnectHome Akron is a critical bridge to gaining the digital access and skills needed to break the cycle of poverty and create a future of financial independence. Through the collaboration of several core partners and dedicated community organizations, ConnectHome Akron creates the opportunity for thousands of Summit County's low-income families to reach these goals.  One of their most recent successes, in partnership with Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing, Ohio Capital Impact Corporation and Huntington National Bank, was the installation of free in-unit Wi-Fi at AMHA’s Marian T. Hall and the distribution of tablets to each household.   We are thankful to have staff and partners working so diligently to help AMHA in fulfilling our vision for the community.
