Senior Food Boxes

In December, the Akron Canton egional Foodbank and Summit County Executive Ilene Shapiro’s Department of Job and Family Services provided 360 senior food boxes and 1,900 personal protective facemasks, hand sanitizer and resource bags to be distributed to our highrises. The distribution was coordinated by AMHA Resident Services Service Coordinators for Elderly and Disabled.

Residents received their boxes right in time for the holidays! We appreciate our community partners who are continuing to provide needed supplies and resources to our residents: Mobile Meals & Summit County Prosecutor's Office.
