FSS Graduate Perseveres, Graduates with over $20,000 in Escrow!
On Friday, February 14th, AMHA Resident and Family Self Sufficiency Program Client, Shirley Brittingham graduated from the program after six years of setting goals and overcoming barriers. During her five and a half years in the FSS program, Brittingham overcame a house fire, a job transfer to Cleveland, and a car accident, all while raising three children. Ultimately, she increased her earnings of $54,744/year to a total household income of $70,848/year. After graduation, Brittingham plans to continue pursuing promotions at her job and return to Nursing School.
